*Because this is a tumblog, I may be following you on my main rather than this one.

Recently I’ve been slacking off due to Finals and the beginning of summer.

It’s not good but I want to get back on track slowly.

I’ve been feeling bloated , maybe from the starch from the instant soup I’ve been drinking.

Today I ate:

A cheddar grilled cheese sandwich on light whole wheat bread

5 small blackberries with non fat plain yogurt

a small apple

What to do after a binge..

So as anyone else would…I occasionally binge on food.

*These are from my own experiences, so they may or may not work the same with you.

I try not to, of course, but sometimes it can’t be helped, especially on special occasions with lots of yummy goodies!!

Immediately after you’re stuffed, just stand, walk around for a bit and let it the fullness die off. Don’t sit down and sleep, it’s uncomfortable and personally I find it makes digesting or the ‘fulness factor’ lessen much slower.

Once you don’t feel like food is about to burst out of your stomach and that you’re in a more content full place, drink water. Lots and Lots of it. I know it seems almost counterproductive to be eating/drinking MORE since you’re already so so full, but I find water makes me less full. I’ve actually read studies saying that drinking water actually reduces what is known as ‘water weight’ and bloating caused by sugar/sodium.

 Finally, stop criticizing yourself.

Everyone knows that feeling. After you just ate WAY too much at the dinner party, you constantly feel guilty and wonder how many more crunches or hours on the treadmill will make up for what you just ate. It’s okay. Tomorrow just eat normal again, DON’T STARVE YOURSELF. Exercise normally, get back in the system. One meal will not kill off all the time you’ve spent working hard!

Top 2 are from January 2012

Bottom 2 are from May 2012

I think I do see the difference. It’s supposed to be a roughly 5 lb weight lost.
